Facilities
White Hill Manor is proud to account for many areas of the event training process. This includes a round yard which is used throughout our competition horses' lives, from backing to high level eventing.
A stadium, which doubles as both a dressage and show jumping arena, is situated nearby. The arena is filled completely with riversand blended with crumbed rubber. White Hill Manor has consulted with vets and trainers alike to ensure that the sand used completely suits the needs of the horses in their intensive event training. Riversand allows for less dust, better traction and cushion, and allows for better drainage.
The arena is graded daily by staff to ensure it stays level. It is also fully secured with strong iron fencing. The arena is used daily for training purposes, as all performance horses are trained between 4-6 days per week, depending on their age and stage of their eventing career.
A cross country course has also been integrated into the training programme for the horses who will be competing in the eventing discipline.

The performance horses at White Hill Manor are stabled at night in a large barn. Similarly, the breeding stock are kept in large individual stables in their respective paddocks at night. The rotation from day paddocks to night stables allows the staff to sleep easy, knowing their competition partners are safe inside. This minimizes the risk of an injury occurring at night, and going unnoticed until morning. The stables are spacious and tended to every morning by staff, ensuring the horses are in a comfortable and clean environment. The dirt and sawdust in each stable is changed regularly, and each stable is fitted with strong stallion guards.
The barn itself has lights fitted, allowing for work to be done in the barn or stables whenever necessary. There is a large breezeway and windows to encourage a good airflow throughout the barn.
The tack, feed and wash areas are found at the barn's entrance. The horses are fed specialised diets depending on their needs. Olive Park strongly believes in feeding smaller quantities of quality hard feed, addressing the horses' individual needs.
